Federal agents executed another person in Minneapolis today. The 37-year-old, legal gun owner, Alex Pretti was reportedly dragged to the ground by federal agents before they shot 5 or more bullets into Alex.
After the killing, and following the execution of Renee Good just a few days ago, rallies and marches broke out across the city. Status Coup News broadcast live from Nicollet and 26th where Pretti was murdered in cold blood.
Peaceful protesters - angry but peaceful - stood off against federal agents. Perhaps fearing for their safety, the cowardly federal agents teargassed the peaceful protesters before fleeing. The crowd regrouped in the area, largely at the intersection of East 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue where the crowd mocked and stared down Minnesota state troopers.
State troopers brought in an armored vehicle and demanded people leave the area. People didn’t leave the area and the state police deployed chemical weapons against the peaceful protesters before scurrying off.
Why did federal and state law enforcement both calculate that teargassing innocent people was necessary to do before leaving the area? As state troopers ran away, people threw tear gas canisters and water bottles at the sad and pathetic cops.
